Hikiyama Changeover Ceremony(Hikiyama Koutai Shiki)
The Hikiyama Museum opened in October 2000 as a base facility for the preservation, transmission, and promotion of the Hikiyama Festival and for the repair of Hikiyama floats.
Twelve Hikiyama floats enter the Hikiyama Museum on the occasion of the April festival in four rotating shifts.
The festival was usually held on the first Saturday of April, but since 2028, it has been held on the second Saturday of October as the autumn Hikiyama parade (changing ceremony).
